Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for an Engineering Tech II to contribute to our Engineering team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. The Engineering Technician II supports engineering activities for manufacturing and distribution operations including project management, equipment set-up, complex testing and installation, workflow configurations and complex technical drafting.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent work experience
• 2 years’ experience in drafting & design
• 3 years industrial/manufacturing engineering experience

Key Responsibilities:

• As assigned, leads projects for operations including installations and workflow configurations.
• Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for equipment including material handling, racks, and conveyors. Obtains quotes for new and used material handling equipment including labor and processes purchase orders.
• Coordinates project work between IBC distribution centers, Lightning Source Facilities, and contractors.
• Contributes to cross-functional manufacturing projects, including performing testing and implementation of action plans to improve productivity and reliability.
• Provides hands on support for the continuous improvement of production lines and new product development implementations.
• Designs and prepares complex facility layouts (i.e. racking, conveyors, equipment and product flow) with the aid of Computer Aided Design (CAD).
• Operates motorized equipment to move equipment and supplies. Supports housekeeping of excess material handling equipment.
