Job Title: Enrollment Coordinator I
Department: Online Admissions
Reports To: Director of Online Admissions
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 PM to 3 PM Central Standard Time (extended hours when requested)
Location: Remote
Job Summary
The Waldorf University Enrollment Coordinator I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to prospective and existing students, as required. The expectation of the position is to assist prospective students with each step of the admissions process, from submitting the initial interest for admission to finalizing the first enrollment.
Essential Job Tasks
Additional duties may be assigned.
- Provides clear and concise communication to prospective students by phone, e-mail, chat and text, about pertinent admission information.
- Returns any missed call, e-mail, or text, from prospective students by the appropriate communication outlet within 24-48 hours to provide answers to any potential questions.
- Secures enrollment from prospective students by assisting them over the phone or in the prospect portal by relaying necessary information pertaining to the admissions process.
- Manages and maintains working lists of prospective students by setting and keeping follow-up appointments to ensure that admissions information is relayed to prospective students in a timely manner while contributing to individual and department conversion rates. Assists with related and /or unrelated areas of the department upon need determined by the leadership team while maintaining the essential elements of the position.
- Promotes maintains and enhances workplace culture within the Admissions Department and Waldorf University.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Knowledge
- English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Internal Processes - Knowledge of general admissions and enrollment processes.
- Clerical - Knowledge of office administrative procedures including word processing, managing files and records, typing, and other office procedures.
- Computer - Knowledge of basic computer processes including word processing, web browsing, and Microsoft Office including Basic Microsoft Excel.

Education & Experience
- Employee must have a high school diploma or equivalency (GED).
- Previous administrative or sales experience is encouraged.

- Office equipment includes computers, telephones, printers, faxes, and copiers.
- Software used include Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Blackboard, and internal database software
- Reliable and secure internet is required for this position.
