**Traveling Required**

Title: Regulatory Compliance Auditor/Trainer – West Coast

We have an opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Auditor/Trainer in Spring Hill, FL. Responsibilities including but not limited to:

* Conducts regulatory audits in our medical facilities.

* Assists in the development, maintenance, implementation, and revision of policies and procedures and other documents for the operation of the organization's compliance program and manuals.

* Ensures that all departments are in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and industry laws, regulations, and standards including but not limited to OSHA and HIPAA as well as all other regulatory guidelines.

* Reports to the Regulatory Auditor Supervisor/Educator and may have support staff reporting to this position.

* Confers with management staff to identify and correct potential areas of non-compliance and anticipate future compliance requirements.

* Stays abreast of laws and regulations that might affect the organization's policies and procedures.

* Gives notification regarding any necessary revisions of policies and procedures.

* Prepares periodic reports for management.

* Ensures issues and/or concerns are identified, investigated, and resolved.

* Participates in audits and reports findings and recommendations to management based upon documentation from approved sources only.

* May represent organization at meetings at the local and state level.

* Assist Regulatory Audit Supervisor/Educator, Chief Compliance Officer with other special events assigned by supervisor as requested.

* Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Education/Experience:

* High School Diploma or Equivalent. Some college preferred.

* Two plus years of experience in a business office. Auditing or legal experience a plus.

Computer Skills: Must be computer proficient with extensive experience in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Visio, etc.), excellent research skills, (billing software and EMR software experience preferable).

Work Environment: The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands: Must have close vision ability. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and arms, talk, and hear. Also requires a valid Florida Driver’s License as this position involves driving several miles per week to various physician offices for audits and other interactions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
