We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Junior Data Analyst to design and execute the querying and analysis of TeeTurtle’s e-commerce data to make recommendations that impact our business objectives for key functions (e.g. supply chain, procurement, sales, product, and customer experience). A qualified applicant will be able to translate that data into compelling, actionable narratives that factor in unique stakeholder input and business questions.


Job Description


  • Use SQL and Excel skills to perform analyses of data from various sources, including our data warehouse, across subject areas, including supply chain, procurement, sales, product, and customers

  • Clearly explain data products, analyses, models, or other products in business terms to business teams to facilitate a broad understanding of the data, its interpretation, and its meaning to the business

  • Maintain monthly and weekly reporting deliverables such as sales and finance forecasts and inventory models

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis ranging from open exploratory data analysis to specific hypothesis-driven analysis to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and hypothesis development

  • Support data engineering to build sustainable and scalable data solutions to address the business' current and future analytic needs

  • Own and manage reports and dashboards that become a focal point for business' data and analytics needs to facilitate a data-driven culture

  • Consult with the team in identifying the business problem, defining important metrics, recommending the best solution, identifying trends and anomalies, and updating reports based on business feedback to ensure alignment and engagement in data projects

  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, math or statistics or commensurate experience

  • Experience using SQL for querying and combining data sources

  • Familiar with creating dashboard reports, status reports, infographics, and other data visualizations

  • Experience with Tableau or comparable data visualization software

  • U.S. residency required


This is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the Senior Operations Manager: Business Intelligence and Customer Experience.


Salary Range:
$50,000-$60,000/yr. based on experience, qualifications, and skills
