A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENTRY-LEVEL APPRENTICE CHIMNEY TECHNICIAN

As an Entry-Level Apprentice Chimney Technician, you are eager to learn! Working alongside our lead technician, you are able to learn how to properly inspect and repair chimneys from the best in the business. Each job starts with you driving a company truck to the job site. Once you arrive at a customer's home, you prepare it for inspection by unpacking the truck, laying down mats and drop cloths, preparing protective equipment, and bringing vacuums and other equipment into the home. Then, you are able to build your skills as you assist with chimney cleanings, inspections, and repairs.

Your organizational skills come into play as you maintain the company truck, warehouse, and clean up after jobs. You love that each workday brings a new change of scenery, and you are excited to advance in your career as you continue to increase your skillset.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL APPRENTICE CHIMNEY TECHNICIAN

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Comfortable working from heights with the ability to safely navigate roofs
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Desire to learn
