Environmental Scientist 1 Job at APTIM
Job Overview: We are seeking to hire a scientist or engineer to perform Phase I ESAs in accordance with ASTM Phase I ESA guidelines (2021). This individual can be located remotely, but will be part of a nationwide due diligence team.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Prepare Phase I ESAs
- Manage time effectively
- Conduct site inspections and reconnaissance in support of environmental site assessments
Basic Qualifications:
- At a minimum a B.S. in environmental science/engineering or closely related discipline
- Experience conducting Phase I ESAs preferred but not a requirement
- OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER training preferred but not a requirement
- Detail oriented, with strong technical skills, including data management and analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
