Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.
Position requires for each individual to be able to interpret a MSDS ( Material Safety Data Sheet )
2.
Annually must comply with having a TB Skin test conducted.
3.
Attends Customer Service in-services as scheduled
4.
Attends all required safety training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, specific job related hazards, and national patient safety goals.
5.
Ensures positive customer relations interactions
- Manages difficult or emotional customer situations
- Responds promptly to customer needs
- Solicits customer feedback to improve service
- Responds to requests for service and assistance
- Meets commitments

Performs cleaning procedures daily in all patient areas as assigned schedule dictates.

Performs cleaning procedures daily in all office and ancillary areas as assigned schedule dictates.

Operates equipment in a safe and productive manner.

Maintains areas of responsibility at a 90% rating.
5.
Cleans and polishes equipment at the end of each shift.
6.
Chemicals are mixed correctly and are only used on the approved surfaces for each chemical.
7.
Will use Personal Protective Equipment as instructed.
8.
Performs all tasks in a professional demeanor at all times.
9.
Provides total customer satisfaction.
10.
Completes all assignments without being prompted.
11.
Projects a Professional Demeanor at all times.
12.
Reports maintenance needs as observed.
13.
Maintains confidentiality of all patient and Baptist Health material.
14.
Complies with departmental and Baptist Health policies/procedures.
15.
Complies with BHM Customer Service Guidelines.
