This Business Development position is responsible for developing the EOEM Panelbuilder business in the West Region of the US. The role primarily consists of understanding the market opportunities, platforming available accounts for pursuits, and developing identified potential accounts for Schneider Electric. As each new account is developed and with initial orders, then the BDM will successfully hand off the customer account to an assigned Regional Account manager.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the below duties:


  • Market analysis
  • Account platforming
  • Development of long range strategic plans
  • Identifying and developing new EOEM acquisition accounts
  • Setting up new customer relationships & accounts
  • Ability to sell at C-Level environments
  • Ability to work on a team with other Schneider Business Units
  • Evaluating New Product solutions for the EOEM market
  • Evaluating major product sales opportunities and assist by providing sales support as required.
  • Attainment of annual orders & sales goal
  • Experience in selling electrical distribution products

  • Four-year degree in engineering or equivalent
  • 8-10 years of professional commercial experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including, but not limited

to, the ability to influence and persuade internal and external Customers,

listen effectively, and solicit input from others.

  • Advanced ability to use Microsoft Office programs including but not limited

to, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organizational skills including, but not limited to, the ability to

handle multiple tasks from a variety of stakeholders
