Supports the Air Dominance and Strike Weapons Directors of Operations at Missiles & Fire Control. Will perform executive administration duties, including creation of presentations, scheduling meetings, managing internal and external commitments, coordinating travel arrangements, coordinating executive/VIP visits, and other coordination activities as assigned. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as external customers, clients and vendors. It is critical that they understand complex calendar scheduling to ensure efficiency and optimal use of the director’s and respective staff’s time; manage the director’s schedules to de-conflict and be able to prioritize meetings based on mission and business needs with little or no direction from directors.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Previous experience supporting executives (Directors or above) in an Administrative Assistant capacity.
  • Proven track record of strong communication skills and problem solving.
  • Experience arranging domestic and international travel at the Director level.
  • Experience using Concur to reconcile travel expenses.
  • Proactively collaborates with a highly motivated, team-oriented, and can-do spirit.
  • Recent and demonstrated experience in executive protocol and providing administrative support to Executive-level clients
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree
  • 4 years of experience with Lockheed Martin (LM) tools (Concur, My Timecard, SAP, Visit LM, etc.), as well as policies and procedures.
  • 4 or more years of experience supporting executives (Director or above) in an Executive Administrative Assistant capacity.
  • Internet research skills at an advanced level of administrative competency.
