The Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin is currently looking for a full-time hands-on Executive Chef for our casual dining clubhouse restaurant and Event Center. The position offers tremendous growth potential as the business grows, and includes lunch, dinner, golf events, weddings and banquets.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of three years of kitchen management experience in a full-service casual dining restaurant
• Experience in banquet preparations for up to 400 people
• Successful track record in controlling costs and producing high quality food
• Menu creation, food presentation, training, and implementation
• Posses a high level of standards and motivation for food quality and excellence
• Dedicated to career growth
• Willing to work days, nights, holidays and weekends
• Demonstrate excellent team leadership skills
• Possess good time management skills
• Passionate about details
• Skills in efficient employee hiring, training and scheduling
• Strong cooking skills with knowledge of trends in the market
• Effective in improving the cooking skills of others
• Inventory management
• Demonstrate the ability to listen and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment and compliance to federal, state, and local rules
• Hours include some evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:

$48,000 - $70,000+ Based on experience
