Experienced Auto Dealership Service Advisor
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
We are currently seeking a professional Auto Service Advisor with a strong track record for customer satisfaction to join our team! From greeting vehicle owners on the drive line to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others!
Responsibilities:
- Providing Exceptional Customer Experience by enthusiastically greeting the customer.
- Ascertain automotive problems by listening to customer's description of symptoms, clarifying description of problems, conducting inspections, test drives, checking vehicle maintenance records, examining service schedules.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions and exclusions
- Assisting customers with the features and benefits of manufacturers recommended vehicle maintenance schedules
- Generating sales in store and over phone through effective communication with the customer
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Required Skills:
- Previous Automotive Service Advisor experience, preferred.
- Candidates must be knowledgeable of under-car repairs, alignments, tires and exhaust systems
- Possess basic math and pc skills.
- Outgoing personality, enjoy helping people, and develop relationships easily.
- Expertise in developing relationships and trust
- Must be able to provide excellent CSI scores
- Detail oriented, process oriented, and proficient with current technology (computers, emails, smartphone & internet)
- Effective communication skills
- Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time
- A multi-tasker that can provide great customer service & a strong team player
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid drivers’ license
