Extended School Year Special and General Education Programs

All positions and hours are pending program enrollment

Prefer staff who can work all five weeks of the program

TEACHERS/PROGRAMS:

Requirements: Teacher certification required, Special Education certification preferred

Salary: Per Contract

Dates: July 10 - August 10, 2022 – 5 weeks

Days/Times: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 – 12:00 plus 30 minute per day planning

• Preschool Integrated Program – Responsible for providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all students
• Kindergarten Integrated Program - Responsible for providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all students
• First Grade Integrated Program - Responsible for providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all students
• Second Grade Tutoring Program - Responsible for providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all students
• TLC Program - Responsible for presenting appropriate academic and social/behavioral services to students based on their individual needs
• TLC Program (5-8)- Responsible for presenting appropriate academic and social/behavioral services to students based on their individual needs (8:30 – 11:30)

TEACHERS/TUTORING

BCS

Requirements: Teacher certification required, Special Education certification preferred

Salary: Per Contract

Dates: July 10 - August 10, 2022 – 5 weeks

Times: 9:00 – 12:00 plus 30 minute per day planning

Days: Grades 3 Monday/Wednesday and Grade 4 Tuesday/Thursday

BMS

Grades 5-8 (BMS): Responsible for teaching English Language Arts and Math to small groups of students. 9:00 – 11:00

SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPISTS

Requirements: Certification Required

Salary: Per Contract

Responsible for implementing speech and language services for students enrolled in extended school year programs.

Dates: July 10 – August 10; Monday - Thursday; approximately 8:30 – 12:30 (planning time included)

NURSE

Requirements: Medical certification required, as well as experience working with children

Salary: Per Contract

Dates: July 10 - August 10; Monday – Thursday, hours to be determined

Responsible for overseeing the medical needs of students enrolled in various summer programs.

ADAPTED PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER

Requirements: Certification Required

Salary: Per Contract

Dates: July 10 - August 10; day/hours to be determined

Responsible for implementing gross motor services for students enrolled in extended school year programs.

BCBA

Requirements: License Required

Salary: Per Contract

Dates: July 10 - August 10; day/hours to be determined

Responsible for implementing behavior plans, ABA programs, and supervising ABA tutors

ABA TUTORS:

Requirements: Experience working with children with special needs and ABA training required.

Dates: July 10 - August 10; day/hours to be determined

PARAPROFESSIONALS:

Requirements: Experience working with children with special needs preferred, please specify for which program you are applying.

Salary: Based on individual salary scale

Dates: July 10 – August 10, time based on program needs

Responsible for assisting teachers in implementing the various extended school year programs. Assist individual or groups of students as directed.
