The Household & Personal Care product line provides mineral-to-market products that serve consumer-oriented end markets including Pet Care, Personal Care, Fabric Care, Edible Oil, and Renewable Fuel Purification. This segment includes our High-Temperature Technologies and Environmental & Infrastructure product lines. Our High-Temperature Technologies product line offers specially-formulated blends and technologies primarily for Foundry and Steelmaking industries. Our Environmental & Infrastructure product line provides waterproofing, water purification, remediation and other fluid management technologies for critical projects for Remediation, Water Purification, and Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
Job Summary: The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the facilities are properly maintained, clean and safe.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee building and grounds maintenance
- Manages and reviews service contracts
- Onsite contact person for obtaining quotes and scheduling various services for the Lehigh Valley facilities (i.e., landscaping, janitorial, floors, roofing, heating & air conditioning, etc.)
- Ensures that the facility is maintained, clean and safe
- Oversee building projects and renovations
- Point of contact on call for alarm company – Lehigh Valley. As well as everything related to security – access/cancellations.
- Oversee guard services and contractors
- Issuing and cancelling door access cards
- Coordinate and assist with set up of employee offices by painting and moving furniture
- Ordering of supplies (i.e., safety supplies, light bulbs, batteries, paint, etc.) purchased at suppliers offsite
- Review and process facility invoices for payment
- Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the entire facility through daily work orders
- Set up conference rooms
- Delivery of mail, packagers and copy paper
- Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities as needed
- Monthly inspections in each building
- Clean up outside of facilities as needed
- May be required to shovel snow and put salt at all doors
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
The requirements listed in the sections that follow are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to perform the duties of this job. Education and Experience
- Must have GED or High school diploma. Trade or Technical degree preferred.
- Minimum of five years of facilities related maintenance experience
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Specialization in carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical strongly preferred
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must understand how things operate related to the facility
- Ability to drive a forklift. Forklift certification preferred. Must have two years prior experience.
- Experience with fume hood testing,, eye wash testing and shower hood inspections
Travel
: Very limited travel is required.
Working Conditions: Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 25-50 pounds. Must be able to utilize/view a computer and/or monitor.
Work Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM Monday – Friday but must have ability to work the number of hours in which duties need to be accomplished, including overtime, holidays and weekends, as necessary.
Safety Training
:
- A new employee hired to perform the duties of this position is required to be provided New Employee Training by a qualified individual or through the online training system. Additionally, an employee must be provided further training if a job duty/task has changes that will affect the health and safety aspects of that employee’s position.
- Additional refresher safety training will be required as management deems appropriate or as dictated by government regulations.
