Facilities Technician II Job at Scientific Research Corporation
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs a variety of tasks related to the facilities and maintenance of the suite
- Performs shipping and receiving tasks
- Performs MAC and Event support activities
- Handles the daily mail pickup and delivery
- Maintains inventory and servicing of Break-rooms
- Maintains space planning documentation
- Performs oversight of maintenance services and repairs in the areas of HVAC, carpentry, painting, plastering, or machine servicing
- Performs general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
- Handles all event set ups and tear downs
- May perform day porter functions and disinfecting/sanitizing
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years' experience
- Computer literate
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Understanding of basic Facility Maintenance concepts and requirements
- Some familiarity with Shipping & Receiving operations
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL
