We are looking for an experienced Facility Janitor to join our expanding team! The Facility Janitor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, in addition to making sure the building remains in proper working order, and in compliance with both AZDHS standards and our own in-house standards.

Job Title: Facility Janitor

Rate: $15/hour

Location: Kingman, Arizona

Reports to: Compliance Supervisor

Hours: Part Time - 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven working experience as a janitor
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• The excellent listener follows directions with accuracy and can work independently
• Excellent communication, and time management skills
• Positive, can-do attitude, works well with teams, and above all is kind!
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity, intelligence, and experience

Personnel Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean all hallways, entranceways, exits, lobbies, and other points of access and egress
• Empty all garbage, break down cardboard boxes, throw away warehouse trash, and otherwise clear all debris and garbage from the facility
• Clean, organize, and restock break rooms, offices, bathrooms, and other rooms inside the facility
• Maintain proper inventory levels of all cleaning supplies, account for reorder times, and make sure the facility has the tools, equipment, and supplies it always needs
• Sanitize all touchpoints (handles, knobs, doors, etc.)
• Shut off hallway, break-room, office, lobby, and other lights at the end of the day
• Maintain outdoor grounds, weed unwanted plants, shrubs, etc.
• Perform minor repairs on machinery, equipment, and tools
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance tasks, and coordinate with the head of compliance and maintenance to make sure that supplies and equipment are taken care of and accounted for, and that the facility remains in proper working order
• Follow all health, safety, and AZDHS guidelines, and ensure that all facility standard operating procedures are followed and accounted for
• Notify management of unsafe conditions within the facility so that management can create an action plan to fix said conditions
• Work independently, quickly, and efficiently with an incremental improvement mentality
• Strive to make the facility cleaner, neater, more organized, and generally more pleasant to work in on a day-to-day basis

In addition to the above general, and expanded, job descriptions, this position might include other possible work depending on the needs of the facility, and management. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum of 21 years of age, must possess a valid drives license or state ID card and is authorized to work in the U.S.

In addition to the above requirements, one must be able to:

- Stand while performing repetitive motions for long periods of time
- Work at a fast pace for prolonged periods, with high, sustained energy
- Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Pass state-mandated (AZDHS) background check

All staff are considered at-will employees, and new hires will have a thirty-day ‘trial’ period whereby performance will be evaluated during, and after, the first thirty days of employment.

Management reserves the right to increase, or decrease, hours based on performance or operational needs
