Overview:
As the Family Partner, you will build trust with caregivers and advocate for their needs by leveraging your knowledge of community resources, mental health service, and school systems. ABOUT KAISER WRAPAROUND
This
Kaiser Wraparound Program is a partnership between Kaiser Permanente and Seneca Family of Agencies, providing behaviorally focused mental health services to children and families. The program aims to provide children and their families with the support and services they need for children to maintain the lowest level of care possible and avoid out of home placements (group homes, juvenile hall, and hospitalization).

Responsibilities:
- Act as a collaborative advocate, aiding caregivers and families in comprehending other team members' perspectives while navigating public/private systems
- Maintain accurate documentation, including but not limited to: mental health notes, timecard, petty cash, and mileage in a timely manner
- Deliver culturally competent and sensitive services by discovering what is important and unique to each family and tailoring service location, language or focus to those needs
- Provide transportation to medical or mental health appointments for caregivers as needed
- Connect caregivers and families to basic needs resources in the community as identified by the treatment team
- Model and utilize a strengths based approach in documentation and all interactions with the family
- Participate in weekly supervision with Supervisor, and Wraparound team meetings as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation
Required:
- Personal experience with own child who has been the recipient of adolescent mental health services
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Be part of a rotating emergency pager system, scheduled with supervisor ahead of time
- Own vehicle, valid California driver's license, and insurability with Seneca's automobile policy
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Clearance of TB test, fingerprints and any other mandatory state/federal requirements
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
Preferred:
- Experience or interest in working with families
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Good critical thinking and organizational skills
- Part-time
- Flexible schedule; 24 - 32 hours a week
- Combination of in-person & remote work
- Exact schedule can be determined with applicant and take into account their preference
- Starting at $25 - $27.50 per hour, actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualification
- Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam
