Responsible for the effective supervision and administration to include monitoring expenditures, staff development and training, performance management, employee relations, scheduling, responding to emergencies, prioritizing and assigning work and related activities to a team of Family Support Workers (FSWs) and Coordinators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned including:
1. Train and provide oversight to the FSW team.
2. Maintain records and program documentation for families receiving services.
3. Participate in staffings, court hearing and other team meetings related to the provision of services to children and families.
4. Provide assistance in delivery of care management services, including assessment, planning, linking, monitoring, and advocacy, to assist children and families.
5. Manage daily schedule for transports, including emergencies and assist in the coordination of necessary transportation for families.
6. Train and supervise the FSW team in supervising children in absence of parents or those awaiting placement.
7. Oversee the completion of all required documentation accurately and timely according to all applicable policies, contract terms, and regulatory requirements.
8. Monitor quality of care by contacting families and conducting home visits to assist caregivers.
9. Provide families with education/information/training in order to enhance their awareness of child abuse and neglect, promote family stability and a healthy family system.
10. Assist Case Managers in referring children and families to appropriate community services and otherwise assure continuity of care for children and families.
11. Treat all children and families with the utmost respect and common courtesy.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma and 2 years’ experience in providing social service, child development, family services or working in a childcare setting. Experience with scheduling and logistics is preferred. An Associates or bachelor’s degree in social science or a related field preferred
