Our Part Time Fencing Coaches instruct children grades 2-12 in the basics in fencing.

Youth Enrichment League partners with local communities to offer children, primarily in grades K-5, a variety of enrichment opportunities, i.e. SPORTS, Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, Fencing, and more.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPECTATIONS:

• Experience working with children is preferred. Experience examples include: youth summer camps, youth coaching, Sunday School instruction, baby sitting, having children of your own, etc.
• Experience in fencing is a plus but not required
• Summer Availability during weekday between 9-12 and 1-4 and/or School Year after school hours
• A reliable vehicle.
• A valid Drivers License and ability to transport and store supplies needed to teach class.
• A sincere desire to make a BIG IMPACT on children's lives.

SUPPLIES AND TRAINING:

• Instructions are given all the supplies they need including masks, jackets, foils, gloves and other fencing equipment.
• Paid training includes orientation highlighting policies, expectations as well as specific classes training. Fencing instructors have on going training with former Olympic Fencing Coach Ro consisting of a two day training once per quarter.

• Paid training includes an orientation of our policies and procedures as well as class specific training.
• This position allows you to gain experience in teaching kids, in as little as 3-5 hours per week, and offers a prospective as a possible career path.
• Get paid $5 for arriving 15 minutes early to class and mileage one way from your home to the school over 15 miles.
