JOB SUMMARY

This Fertigation Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of Fertigation Technicians to ensure the proper plant nutrition and watering, along with data collection. The Fertigation Manager performs and works with their teams to make sure their duties follow company policy, laws, and rules governed by the state. This position reports to the Cultivation Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

· Maintain and follow facility policies and procedures.

· Responsible for filling of watering tanks.

· Responsible for measurement and weight of difference fertilizer components for various feed recipes, and measures pH and EC.

· Responsible for assessing plant hydration needs.

· Collect data ranging from runoff data after irrigation events.

· Monitor water temps throughout the year.

· Assess environmental, including monitoring room temperature, relative humidity, CO2 concentration, light intensity, and leaf surface temp.

· Properly set-up, trouble shoot, scout, and maintain emitters and emitter lines in automatically irrigated rooms.

· Able to work weekend and off hours.

· Must have basic math skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· 2+ years of experience leading a team

· Bachelor’s in agricultural field preferred

· 3+ years of horticultural experience in a commercial cannabis facility preferably a greenhouse

· 2-3+ years of experience with Fertigation within a commercial cannabis facility or as a consultant

· Knowledge in all cannabis media required

· Experience in the fundamentals of plant biology required.

· Coaching, developing, and training of Fertigation Technicians

· Must​ ​be​ ​a​t least ​21​ ​years​ ​of​ ​age

· Must​ ​be​ ​and​ ​remain​ ​compliant​ ​with​ ​any​ ​and​ ​all​ ​regulatory requirements​ ​for​ ​working​ ​in​ ​the cannabis industry

· Must be able to obtain and retain a Registered Agent Card issued by the state of operation

· Must have excellent organization and time management skills

· Must be able to internalize training and ​follow instructions consistently

· Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively

· Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and grow with the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
