CRPA Central California A&O Field Representative Job Description (11/30/22):

The CRPA Central CA A&O Field Representative is responsible for growing and maintaining the CRPA Business Affiliate and CRPA Chapter Program in the Central California region. This includes meeting with potential and current Business Affiliates and Chapters with the intention of providing resources to enhance and support the 2nd Amendment community as assigned. The work of this position should always place CRPA in the most favorable light while informing the members and general public about CRPA activities. They will work directly with the Advocacy and Outreach Director, as a direct report, and may work with the Operations Director on all grassroots efforts.

This position is an hourly position, with a regular work schedule of 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday, however alternate work schedules are commonplace in this position in order to meet the needs of members, businesses, and events that the Central CA A&O Field Representative is required to attend. Alternative work schedules should be coordinated with direct supervisor.

Description:

· Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends and news in California, Second Amendment issues, and firearm retailers across the state.

· Have an understanding of the different regions of the state and how to best support their needs and issues.

· Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach.

· Maintain and track systems for reaching the most businesses and members in a given month with the most cost-effective ways of reaching those goals.

· Set up, attend and oversee booths at events where they may be the only person working the event or may be interacting with volunteers.

· Develop and maintain contacts with businesses and build rapport

· Develop and maintain contacts with potential and existing chapter members in chapter leadership positions and build rapport

· Work with manager and field representatives in the warehouse to ensure that the right amount and type of materials are pulled for routes

· Provide support and direction to CRPA Business Affiliates in ways they can communicate and work with CRPA in event planning and political advocacy

· Provide support and direction to CRPA Chapters in ways that they can communicate and work with CRPA

· Bring back questions, concerns, and general impressions to manager that will help to improve CRPA programs

· Properly maintain any CRPA equipment provided for use while in the field.

· File timely field reports and submit money collected and paperwork to the proper CRPA staff for processing.

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills Required:

· Knowledge of systems offering carriers (NEON – Training Provided)

· Must have excellence time-management skills

· Minimum 2 years’ experience working with analytics, sales &marketing, firearms, etc.

· Must be a confident communicator and presenter with notable experience in verbal and written communications. Marketing, Sales, or Promotion skills and experience favorable

· Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.

· Must be willing to travel by vehicle and must have reliable transportation, valid license, and insurance. Should be available to travel by air when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
