We are hiring an Public Works Maintenance Worker for one of our clients in Miami Gardens, FL.
Job Description:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work in construction, operation, repairs, maintenance, and replacement of City streets, sidewalks, canals, and storm drainage systems.
Performs routine work in all phases of grounds maintenance.
May operate a variety of equipment.
Assists higher level trades technicians or higher level craft personnel who are performing a combination of trades assignments
Skills required:
Basic knowledge of methods and general procedures of applicable trade or grounds maintenance techniques.
Working skill in the use of equipment and tools.
Valid Driver’s License may be required.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to perform heavy manual labor.
Experience required:
One (1) year experience in streets or storm water maintenance.
Education required:
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
