Position Overview:

The Finance Analyst will work closely with the sales organization and delivery units to develop a monthly operational forecast (orders, revenue and gross margin), supports all pricing requests by coordinating the required information across multiple functions and areas in order to present quotes or proposals for customers, and provides general sales support in ensuring opportunity quality, as well as helping to enforce the global standard sales processes. This role supports the sales organization within the Americas, which includes North America and Latin America countries.

This role will provide end-to-end customer support in the following areas: (1) operational forecasting, (2) product forecasting, and (3) pricing support. Coordinates between relevant internal and external parties and ensures timely and accurate execution of sales (lead-to-order) and, especially, delivery (order-to-cash) processes. Executes global standards and practices at the local level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathers data and information to prepare monthly operational forecasting related to orders, revenue, and gross margin.
• Gathers data and information from internal teams for product forecasting, as well as critical component requirements.
• Supports all aspect of the pricing process for sales opportunities, including:
  • Working with the Global Deal Desk to obtain pricing information.
  • Meeting with internal delivery units to obtain cost and pricing information.
  • Consolidating all inputs and preparing a P&L statement
  • Ensuring that the Deal Review Process is followed per the global standards.
• Provides proactive Sales support services, including:
  • Preparing basic estimates, quotations, and proposals for customer presentation
  • Developing sales orders and supplier documentation – including order coding and hardware / solution configurations
  • Working with the internal teams and delivery units to prepare pricing information.
  • Developing customer contract and supporting documentation
  • Obtaining necessary approvals and agreements
  • Producing and submitting bid / tender responses in line with defined standards and guidelines
  • Creating and maintaining bid response content within the Bid Resource Center
• Provides sales support to ensure Sales Force quality, enforcing global standards.
• Responds to customer sales correspondence and information requests, providing background information and distributing to relevant teams / team members.
• Maintains and updates core data in the relevant financial database.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 0-2 years of experience ideally in sales operations or equivalent role (may adjust based upon local regulations or level of position)
• This position will be a hybrid role in Austin, TX.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support or Business Finance within the Retail industry
• Experience of working with data, driving analytics, and providing management level reporting
• Solid understanding of financial concepts, such as components of a Profit and Loss Statement
• Able to demonstrate attention to detail and delivery to timelines.
• Conceptual knowledge of order management processes, ideally gained in a Retail product environment.
• Demonstrated relationship building skills.
• Proficient in all MS Office products with an emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
