Description: The Finance Manager position will involve working with Phalanx senior partners, portfolio company executives and clients to develop financial models, prepare projections, reconcile financial results to projects and assist with general business planning activities. In this role, the Financial Manager will gain or further develop expertise in business due diligence, financial due diligence, legal due diligence and business valuation principles. The Financial Manager will additionally assist with and assume certain responsibility related to capital markets activities, which may include arranging financing for portfolio company investments and select clients.
Phalanx intends to hire 2-3 Finance Managers within the next 45-60 days and each new teammate will be assigned one more company to work with closely on an ongoing basis. Each company is focused on providing a service within the circular economy and / or sustainability. Phalanx focused on investing in environmentally friendly companies committed to improving our natural world.
Requirements: The Financial Analyst position requires a minimum four (4) year degree from an accredited university or college, with a preference for candidates with degrees in business and financial management, engineering or the hard sciences.
Additional: In addition to the Requirements, strong candidates may additionally have, but are not required to have, securities licenses, CFA Levels 1-3 certification, programing experience and more than two (2) years of prior experience in a comparable position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
