Financial Analyst Job at Rothman Orthopaedic Institute
Rothman Orthopaedics is looking to hire a Financial Analyst to join the team based in Center City Philadelphia. This position will allow for a hybrid work schedule.
The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Analytics department and will support the planning and analysis of Rothman Orthopaedics.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations, including ROI and cost-benefit analyses, for senior management
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of financial models, including the company budget, to evaluate potential growth opportunities and revenue streams, and analyze expenditures across the organization to provide cost savings recommendations
- Extract and utilize data from various sources and communicate with department heads to obtain business insights to be incorporated into analysis
- Collaborate with Accounting department through month-end general ledger review
- Ad hoc analysis as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management or closely related field
- 1 to 2 years related experience. Tableau and data visualization experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, required (knowledge of pivot tables, formula building, etc.)
- Self-starter, highly motivated and detail-oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex analysis to all levels of the organization in a simple fashion.
