Job Title: Fishing Instructor at Red Oak Camp

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Fishing Instructor to oversee and lead the fishing program at our lake for both boys and girls camps. As the Fishing Instructor, you will be responsible for running the fishing program, conducting five one-hour sessions each day, and ensuring a safe and engaging experience for campers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the fishing program at our lake for boys and girls camps
• Conduct five one-hour fishing sessions each day
• Instruct campers on fishing techniques, safety practices, and conservation ethics
• Assist campers in baiting hooks, casting lines, and reeling in fish
• Provide guidance and support to campers, fostering a love for fishing and the outdoors
• Ensure the safety and well-being of campers during fishing activities

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in fishing, preferably as a fishing instructor or guide
• Strong knowledge of fishing techniques, equipment, and safety practices
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to work well with children of various ages and skill levels
• Passion for fishing, conservation, and outdoor education

Eligibility:

• Open to applicants of all genders
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications
• Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is preferred
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
