Floor Supervisor
Job description
We are seeking a Floor Supervisor for an inpatient locked psychiatric facility. Floor Supervisors provide direct supervision of counselors and program staff, ensuring all aspects of the program are functional, safe, and compliant.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a H.S. diploma with at least 2 years experience with mental health or related care providing field
- At least 1 year of experience in inpatient care
- At least 1 year experience with forensic population

Responsibilities:
- Providing direct floor based supervision of counselors
- Crisis intervention
- Ensuring program schedule is being implemented
- Supervising weekly locker and room searches
- Maintaining resident storage (off unit)
- Collaborating with other disciplines as it relates to resident care / program
- Reporting unit affairs to Clinical Director
- Supervising in Periodic chart audits
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Clinical/Program Director or Administrator
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
COVID-19 considerations:
- Initial screening interviews online. Facility COVID-19 precautions and training upon hire.
- Dept. of Public Health requires COVID-19 vaccination (initial vaccination and at least one booster) for SNF facilities.
