This temporary position is located in Butner, NC - Granville County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $15.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services. This position is located at 300 Veazey Rd., Butner NC 27509.
The primary purpose of the Food Service Assistant to prepare and cook assigned products to include breakfast items, meat entrees, vegetables and desserts. As well as cleaning and sanitizing the production area.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

Ability to learn food preparation and cleaning procedures.- Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor for extended periods
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees & patients.
- Ability to understand and follow oral, written instructions as well as keeping records
- Communicate in a respectful manner to patients, co-workers and customers.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Education and/or experience in food service that is directly related to the job and consistent with accepted practices of the trade.
