Mid-size, upscale fitness facility in the area of Jupiter/Tequesta is looking to fill both a part-time (10-20 hrs) and full-time (30-40 hrs) position as a fitness associate. Shifts include opening, closing, and weekends. Regular shifts can last from 3-8hrs. Duties will include, but not be limited to front desk and sales, maintaining cleanliness of the facility and assisting instructors/trainers. Comfortable work environment with flexible hours. Competitive hourly wages with room for advancement. Ideal candidate will have long term interest in the health and fitness industry. This is not a seasonal job. Looking for long term employees only.
Prior experience in the gym setting, healthcare setting, athletics or in customer service is preferred. High school degree is preferred. Knowledge of gym equipment is preferred but not required. High energy character and the ability to multi-task are required. Computer competency is required. Must be able to lift 45 pounds.
