Front Desk Job at Atomic Motel
⚛ Atomic Motel ⚛ is looking for a dedicated front desk agent to join our team.
Atomic Motel is a Mid-Century Modern motel in Astoria, Oregon. We pride ourselves on a fun and friendly staff and atmosphere.
This is a year-round position, 5 days a week, 30-35 hours per week.
You will be required to get a food-handler's card, because we bake muffin's daily!
The schedule for this position will be the same each week except under special circumstances:
Thursday 3PM - 9PM*
Friday 3PM - 9PM*
Saturday 3PM - 9PM*
Sunday 3PM - 9PM*
Monday 3PM - 9PM*
Tuesdays & Wednesdays OFF
*June - September the schedule will be 4pm - 10pm.

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive in the lobby.
- Check-in guests using our reservation software and in accordance to our policies.
- Ensure the lobby is tidy and sanitized.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email/other written applications
- Create, cancel, reconcile, and modify guests' reservations in accordance to our policies.
- Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance to make sure rooms are clean, safe, and ready to go.
Skills
- Work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or customer-facing role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar programs a plus
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (printers, scanners)
- Welcoming attitude and clean appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Interpersonal skills (friendly customer service attitude)
