A Burn Ambassador is responsible for the experience our members receive when they walk in the front door. Burn Ambassadors are the “front of house” operations, fostering the growth of community in the gym.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Burn Ambassador, you will be expected to work at the front desk for approximately 15-25 hours a week primarily on Monday Wednesday, Friday’s for the morning shift which starts at 5am. This position will help with marketing activities to generate leads, spread brand awareness, and grow membership. This position reports to our Key Burn Ambassador and will work with the front desk team toward common goals.

Front Desk Duties of the Position

• Provide the full welcome experience with each client
• Greeting members
• Tour of the facility
• Introduction to the trainer
• Mindbody enrollment
• Having waivers signed and returned
• Facilitate day-to-day processes related to trial clients
• Finding, curating and maintaining joint ventures that benefit our location
• Driving lead generation using tactics and tools as taught though our training programs
• Selling memberships
• Scheduling focus meetings for clients
• Completing Mindbody tasks
• Following up with prospects & trial members (text, e-mail, phone calls)
• Updating the closing journal & trial tracker
• Completing retail transactions
• Organizing the client drop zone and washing / folding towels.
• Responsible for working as a team to close 60% of all trials.
• Provide general retail maintenance to keep the retail center stocked, clean, and approachable.
• Work with training staff to maximize the client experience
• Light cleaning and straightening as instructed in the Open/Close Checklist to ensure facility is properly maintained.
• Promptly report facility needs to the manager

Qualifications

• Must be a high producer in autonomous working situations and a self-motivator.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to easily learn and navigate software systems and maintain records.
• Have a high level of understanding and presence in social media and technology in general.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and follow through.
• Passing a background check.
• Experience with sales is a plus.
• Experience in dealing with customers is a plus.
• Experience with marketing, videography, photography & social media is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
