RECEPTIONIST
A. Reports to the Office Manager
B. Responsible for all regular functions in the Reception Office
1. Works posted hours on the schedule developed by the Office Manager/Manager and is responsible for opening/closing the Reception office and the Pool-Recreation area as requested
2. Keeps accurate office records
-Maintenance payments
-Unit rentals
-Unit sales
-Internal exchanges by owners
3. Provides appropriate secretarial service for all departments when directed by the
Office Manager or Manager
4. Maintains direct contact with owners by telephone and in person
-Screens all owner/vendor complaints for Office Manager
-Directs inquiries and complaints to proper departments
-Is able to provide information to owners about Resort activities and has a wide and accurate knowledge of activities in the local or surrounding area
5. Makes all necessary preparations for owner check - ins and check - outs and helps arrange for late arrivals and assists owners in all possible ways, especially when the are here at the Resort for vacation
6. Makes all necessary contacts with Housekeeping or Maintenance departments to resolve any problems or questions
7. Corresponds with owners when requested by Office Manager
8. Assists with semi - annual mailings as requested by Office Manager
9. Maintains good public relations with all who enter the Reception area as a Cold Spring
Resort employee with a good professional appearance
10. Attend regular department meetings as directed by the Office Manager
-Make suggestions in writing for new policy or policy interpretation
-Develops cost-saving ideas and review with Office Manager
Qualifications: General secretarial skills
Work Year: Annual
Salary: Wages set at an hourly commensurate with experience and effort
Evaluation: Performance review may be done yearly by the Office Manager in conjunction with the
Manager

Note: In any phase of the duties and responsibilities of a Receptionist that require clarification, the
Receptionist may go directly to the Manager after having previously discussed it with the Office Manager or, failing that, directly to the President of the Board of Driectors or his designee, after having previously discussed it with the Manager.
