Tails Up Pet Resort & Spaw is a family-owned business located in South Pittsburg, TN. We are looking for a full-time receptionist that loves dogs! This isn't your typical receptionist job. You will be on your feet for most or possibly all of your scheduled shift and you may have to help with other tasks from time to time. The job can be messy at times, and it is always very busy here.

Job Responsibilities

• Check in and check out clients for grooming, boarding, self-service, and day care.
• Taking calls and scheduling appointments.
• Making daily reminder calls.
• Filing boarding folders with all of the clients information.
• Cleaning and organizing the retail area.
• Operating our POS system.
• Maintaning the Self-Service Dog Wash.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

The receptionist job at Tails Up Pet Resort and Spaw is a unique one. Listed below are some of the must haves that you will need, or this job is probably not for you.

• Very good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask without getting frustrated.
• Must love animals and be able to handle both big and small dogs.
• Must have good social skills and greet eveyrone with kindness and a smile.
• Must have some knowledge of a POS system and be good with computers and up to date with technology.
• Needs to have attention to detail as you will be in charge of feeding instructions, shot records, medication instructions, belongings, and more.

Schedule

This is a full-time job opportunity. You will get right at 40 hours a week. The job is mostly a Monday through Friday job with an occasional Saturday. You will only work 5 days a week even if you have to work a Saturday.
