Job Description: Full or Part Time Bookkeeper

Fiesta Winery is a family-owned and operated winery outside Lampasas, TX, with additional tasting rooms in Fredericksburg and Marble Falls. We specialize in crafting quality wines and creative wine blends with personality. We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer service and the rural economy to ensure great wines for generations.

We seek an energetic professional bookkeeper who shares our passion for wine, hospitality, and events with excellent service and commitment to accurate financial reporting. A minimum of three years of experience in bookkeeping would be greatly appreciated.

Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeper for vineyard, tasting room, events, and festivals - Manage day-to-day accounting operations. - Manage general ledger accounting including A/P, A/R, and inventory - Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements - Generate reports using QuickBooks Online and Excel. - Maintain inventory and cost accounting records. - Ensure all internal accounting processes are timely and accurately completed. - Prepare bi-weekly payroll for submission to Quickbooks online for processing -Assist with the budgeting process. - Approve and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems. -Support tax-return preparation. Federal and state tax reports and payments and other tax returns, including annual 1099 forms. -Post adjusting entries and closing books at year-end. -Maintain required records, reports, and files in an organized manner. -Assist with other special projects as assigned.

-Work with Texas Wine Analytics in reporting to TABC and TTB.

-Preparing reports monthly, quarterly, and annually for out-of-state wine sales shipping reports through Ship Compliant.

Qualifications: - Degree in Accounting or Finance is desirable.

- Must be proficient in Excel spreadsheets - QuickBooks Online experience required.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
