Texas Township is seeking a full-time Building and Grounds Maintenance Worker to facilitate the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all Township-owned properties and equipment. Work includes operation of light equipment and provides general labor in support of a wide range of activities, including, but not limited to parks (and amenities), utilities, buildings, grounds, cemeteries, streets, sidewalks, vehicle/equipment maintenance and forestry. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of two (2) years of progressive experience in a variety of building trades including electricity, heating, air-conditioning, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and cement work. Relevant trade certifications or licenses a plus.
This position has a flexible work schedule with occasional evening and/or weekend requirements. Pay range is $25-30 per hour, DOQ, with a competitive benefits package.
