A Full Time Maintenance/Manager Position (Kihei Maui Hawaii):

A full-time maintenance/weekend manager position is available at a South Maui Condo community. Rent free accommodations are provided and living on property is required.

Seeking a professional, friendly individual who is a team player & can also work independently with a wide variety of property maintenance skills. Individual will serve as the weekend manager which requires interfacing with condo owners and guests who rent on vacation. Efficient & timely job completion, problem-solving skills & the ability to multi-task are critical. Additional requirements include:

Handy-person level knowledge of electrical/plumbing/carpentry/painting/irrigation & mechanical systems. Previous maintenance experience in an apartment, condo or multi-unit residential setting. Applicant must pass a pre-employment drug screening & a background check.

Applicant is required to be able to occasionally lift /move up to 50lbs. & climb a 6' ladder. Among other things, duties will include:

Building Maintenance & assist with landscaping under the direction & collaboration with the Resident Manager.

Serve as building manager & building emergency situation responder on weekends & during Resident Manager vacation/personal days. Guide, work together & support maintenance staff of 2. Ensure a safe environment for staff, owners & guests.

Maintain swimming pool cleanliness with proper chemicals & cleaning routine. Assist with common area cleaning during custodian/maintenance vacation or absence.

Enforce property house rules with guests and owners & manage complaints or issues with a customer service oriented approach.

Morning opening & evening closing of common element features such as the pool, BBQ area, & security gates.(when on shift).

Compensation Package in addition to salary is:

Paid vacation & personal days. Medical, dental & optical insurance. Rent free accommodations including AC, all utilities, cable, internet & renter's insurance.

Job is a Full Time salaried position, typically 40 hours per week. Schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday including morning open and evening closing duties. Wed./Thursday off. Work location is one location on property.
