Job Summary
Our Garment Production Associate are trained in all aspects of our floor. From inbounding orders, to patterning, prepping, quality assurance, order matching, and outbounding. This position requires a detailed eye to ensure all quality standards are met or exceeded. As a Garment Production associate, you will be cross trained to float between roles based on where the business need is.

Duties / Responsibilities:
- Keep a safe work environment by maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Process, sort and organize incoming shipments for core and revive business
- Uses the Hemster Platform for all stations to move orders from inbound through outbound
- All incoming orders should be processed, received, prepared, and sorted by color for the patterning station in a timely manner.
- Measures and marks garment to be sent to Prep Station
- Prepares garments for tailors using provided tools like a seam ripper.
- Inspects the work completed by tailor to ensure quality meets our standards.
- Uploads photos into the portal of completed alteration.
- Steams/Prepares garments for order matching
- Uses Hemster Product to match each garment with the corresponding order information and create shipping labels to the address displayed in the system.
- Ensure all orders are packaged according to Hemster standards and sent to the correct customer.
- Organizes each garment into its correct order group
- Ensures all QC inspected garments are correctly matched by order number into the order matching bins by end of workday
- Ensures all orders ready for outbound are packaged and ready for shipping by end of each day
- Assist with the maintenance of the facilities including, vacuuming, dusting, cleanliness of breakroom, conference room.
- Other duties involved include; moving machines, breaking down boxes, removing trash and recycling.
- Perform duties in Revive were needed, ranging from data entry, handwashing, cataloging, or repairing damaged garments
Requirements:
- Ensure Hemster’s standard for efficiency, accuracy and quality are always met for all inbound/outbound related activities
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Self-motivated and team-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot problems
- Ability to navigate online portal.
- Strong organization skills, attention to detail and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues
Physical Requirements:
While performing this job a Garment Production Associate is regularly required to stand, sit, reach, and kneel. Physical ability to lift and move 50lbs. Specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time, non-exempt position. This position is eligible for overtime. Work hours are typically 20-29 hours a week, Monday thru Friday with weekend availability.
