Gas Station Manager

We are seeking a motivated Gas Station Manager to oversee the daily operations and activities of our gas station. As the Gas Station Manager, you will ensure the safety and security of the customers, that all employees provide excellent customer service, and that all financial and operational goals are met. You will also be responsible for managing stock, implementing promotions and discounts, hiring staff, and managing staff.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage staff and ensure that all employees are properly trained
• Ensure that all regulations and laws regarding the operation of a gas station are followed
• Notify Operations Manager of any vendors required with set up or credit terms.
• Purchase supplies based on previous sales.
• Maintain Snap benefit minimum requirements.
• Practice loss prevention.
• Identify potential for supervisor and manager roles in employees.
• Ensuring consistent, compliant, and profitable operations on a daily basis.
• Perform inventory count and inventory orders.
• Manage relationships with vendors.
• Maintain proper documentation on site and ensure all local, state and federal requirements for lawful operation is met.
• Ensure food served complies with state and local health codes.
• Set fuel prices correctly each day according to market conditions.
• Employee scheduling, hiring, training.
• Approving all timecards and invoices in a timely manner according to company policy.
• Regularly report to company executives.
• Enforce safety protocols and company procedures.
• Maintain pumps and fuel supply.
• Interact with public to ensure enjoyable experience.
• High quality customer service.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a gas station managerial role
• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of safety and security regulations
• Able to manage staff and motivate employees
• Able to multitask and prioritize tasks
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of retail operations and inventory management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,113.00 - $39,520.00 per year
