Geotechnical Field Engineer Job at Somat Engineering, Inc.
Somat has immediate openings for a geotechnical field engineer! We are seeking energetic and personable experienced staff who are interested in growing their career in this field.
The geotechnical field position we are looking to fill will involve a mix of project pursuits, task management, and field management.
Some of the types of activities that you will be involved with are:
- Coordinating the permitting, utility clearance and scheduling of geotechnical field investigations
- Provide oversight of geotechnical investigations, logging of boreholes and conformance to permit requirements
- Schedule and oversee subcontractors
- Maintaining and operating field equipment
This position will require some out-of-town work assignments depending on the project requirements.
