What you will enjoy doing*
- You will oversee immigration processes for business visitor visas, employment visas, permanent residency applications, and citizenship applications
- Further you will coordinate resolutions to complex immigration matters with the assistance of your global mobility colleagues and outside counsel and communicate solutions to employees and stakeholders
- Additionally you will educate manager and employees on visa and green card application and renewal process, including organizing information sessions for regular intakes of campus hire and intern visas
- Liaise with the recruiting team and external immigration counsel to review candidate work authorization and answer candidate immigration questions
- Oversee the initiation of employee tax, relocation, monthly payroll and immigration pre-move counseling sessions. Track and ensure any issues raised are resolved prior to move
- You will also coordinate resolutions to complex mobility cases with the assistance of your global mobility team members. This will include coordinating research and input from internal teams, summarizing findings and suggestions to stakeholders, and maintaining a focus on employee well-being
- In this role you will onitor immigration and mobility compliance and risks, as well as to manage all mobility cases inbound into the US, keeping all parties updated as needed
- In addition you will monitor extended assignments and assess appropriate timing to initiate localization
- Moreover you willl coordinate orientation sessions for new international transferees and collaborate on special projects such as mobility package reviews, benchmarking exercises, etc.
What makes you great
- You will have at least 3-5 years of Global mobility tax, international relocation, US immigration, HR, or related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Additional you will highly organized with an ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- You have strong analytical skills that include the ability to extract data from multiple sources to create and modify complex reporting required
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
- You will also have the ability to work in a confidential environment with exceptional attention to detail
- Innovative and interested in maintaining a culture that puts the employee experience first
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary in this role
