Group Fitness Instructor
Location: West Chicago Park District – ARC Center
Start Date: Open Until Filled
Salary: $25.00+ per hour DOQ

General Description:
Under the supervision of the Facility Supervisor, Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for creating and implementing the proper format for classes being taught. Must be creative, making classes fun and leaving a lasting impact on our clients. Must teach classes to the abilities of patrons. Must provide leadership and guidance to participants regarding proper form and skills. Expected to keep current with industry trends and continually seek to better themselves and their teaching abilities. Responsible for the appearance and upkeep of the Group Exercise, Dance, and Spin Rooms.

Requirements:
- Minimum Age: 18
- Certification as a Group Fitness Instructor through Nationally Accredited Association: AFAA, ACE, YogaFit, Zumba, Etc.
- Must Possess Knowledge of Areas of Aerobic Fitness
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certified or Willingness to Obtain
- Must be able to Work on Own without Direction
