We are looking for a Handy Man to join our team and provide a variety of services to our customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing basic repairs, maintenance, and installation tasks in berthing area / sailors dwelling. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and other related trades. The ideal candidate will also have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems.
- Repair and replace broken fixtures and appliances.
- Perform basic electrical work.
Need is ASAP
Duration: 10 months
Schedule: Mon – Fri 8 hours, Sat & Sun – 4 hours
Having a clearance to go into Newport News Shipyard will definitely be a PLUS.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $32.00 - $33.00 per hour
