SCOPE:
- Director - Project Management
The Director of Project Management develops and directs the strategic planning and commercialization of multiple projects including new item development, maintenance and operational. The Director of Project Management is responsible for managing the Project Management Office (PMO) and overseeing all projects to achieve on-time launches as well as product management. The Project Management Director must have effective communication and working relationships with all departments, customers, and project team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Director - Project Management
- Manages the day to day operations and team members of the Project Management Office.
- Work closely with VP, Business Strategy to achieve overall company goals.
- Maintains project costing, sell prices and gross / net margins to meet company benchmarks.
- Hosts weekly new product and maintenance project meetings.
- Responsible for PMO / Commercialization processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Directly involved in all large volume and fast-paced projects with assigned PMO
- Attends pertinent project meetings such as kick-offs, cuttings, preproduction, release, etc.
- Evaluates project statuses and resolves issues daily.
- Prioritizes RD projects based on timelines, customer demands, etc.
- Ongoing development and training of PMO team members.
- Maintains and evolve SalesForce functions for commercialization as System-Admin.
- Work closely with sales reps to keep all opportunities constantly moving forward by developing timelines, establishing deliverables, and successful closure.
- Oversee newly awarded business, product launches, menu changes and special LTO’s (Limited Time Offers)
- Manage Monthly Reporting – KPIS such as QNS and Post Launch Review reports.
- Lead effective sales support functions such as RFP, Customer Portals and Customer Spec development and adherence.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Director - Project Management
- 5+ years of experience in sales or customer service related roles, preferably within food manufacturing industry
- BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
- 5 years' experience in sales operations, sales analytics, contracting, pricing, or sales administration.
- Advanced knowledge of MS office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Direct experience supporting customers
- Ability to problem solve and think analytically
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Must be able to diplomatically enforce deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport building, listening, and questioning skills.
