VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION TITLE: Certified Teacher, Interventionist / Head Volleyball Coach
LOCATION: Flatonia Secondary
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with FISD Teacher Pay Schedule
LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 187 days + coaching duties
POSITION SUMMARY: Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences
designed to help them fulfill their potential for academic success.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College
Experience: Successful classroom teaching experience preferred, but not mandatory
Licenses/Other: Hold valid Texas Teaching Certificate
ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES:
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules
Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes
Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug test and annual physical
Excellent organizational, communication, an interpersonal skills
