Our Stony Point Rock Quarry site in Cotati, CA, is looking for a full-time experienced Excavator, Dozer, and Motor Grader Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team!

Our Heavy Equipment Operators help support the job site in various tasks to assist with the site’s operations (mining, transporting, stockpiling, and sorting material) as well as daily plant and yard repairs/maintenance. We look for candidates with a positive attitude, who are reliable and punctual, have great work habits, and the ability to work as a team and independently.

What We Look for in Qualified Candidates

3+ years of recent full-time experience (within the past 5 years) safely and effectively operating the below equipment in a comparable work-environment and industry, such as mining or construction:

• Large Hydraulic Excavator (CAT 375) – CAT controls
• Bulldozer (D9) – CAT controls
• Motor Grader (John Deere 672)
• Basic to intermediate maintenance and mechanical experience.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (pre-employment physical exam including drug testing with testing for marijuana).

Finally, Soiland has a Profit-Sharing part of the Retirement Plan. Depending on Soiland’s profitability for the year, the Company can contribute up to an additional 22% of the employee’s annual wages.
