Home Care Scheduler and Administrative Assistant Job at Seniors Helping Seniors, LLC
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Home Care Scheduler and Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling home care services for our clients, providing administrative support to the agency, and assisting with accounting support activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate home care services for clients, including assigning caregivers and updating schedules as needed.
- Communicate with clients, caregivers, and healthcare providers to ensure that all scheduling needs are met and any changes are communicated in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and caregiver schedules in our electronic record-keeping system.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide customer service to clients and caregivers.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and report preparation.
- Conduct interviews and orientations with prospective caregivers.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or business preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in scheduling, customer service, administrative support, and/or accounting activities preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and accounting personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic record-keeping systems.
- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and professional attitude.
Working Conditions: This position is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to client homes or healthcare facilities.
