*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Hotel front office managers typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Interviewing potential employees to ensure hiring decisions are made based on qualifications and experience
- Managing the hotel’s operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Communicating with guests to answer questions about their reservations or other issues related to their stay
- Assisting guests in resolving problems or complaints with their reservations or regarding other issues during their stay
- Managing the front desk staff to ensure high levels of customer service are provided to guests at all times
- Coordinating activities and events such as conventions and conferences, weddings, and banquets to ensure that they run smoothly
- Ensuring that the facilities are clean and well maintained, and that supplies are ordered and restocked as needed
- Assisting guests with travel arrangements such as car rentals, airport shuttle services, and planning trips to nearby attractions
- Handling accounting tasks such as payroll processing and billing for room service or food and beverage charges
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
