WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A HOUSEKEEPER
We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our fantastic housekeeping team. This position requires a passion for both communication and relationships. Someone who is both professional, friendly, and cares about others will thrive in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A HOUSEKEEPER
Under the direction of the Housekeeping Director, a Housekeeper performs a variety of tasks to keep resident apartments and common areas neat and clean. Some of the general responsibilities of a Housekeeper include, but are not limited to:

  • Upholds a high level of customer service when dealing with staff, residents, families, and guests — addressing questions and concerns with respect and thoughtfulness
  • Clean common areas. This includes, but not limited to: Vacuum carpeted areas, dust furniture, clean glass surfaces, mop common areas, clean public restrooms
  • Clean residents' apartment. This includes, but not limited to: Vacuum carpeted areas, dust furniture, clean and disinfect bathroom
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
  • Follows all safety and sanitation rules and regulations
  • Follows instructions, works well with others, and maintains a good rapport with residents
  • Refers all problems to director or member of the management staff
  • Presents a clean and professional appearance
  • Cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties

SHIFTS OF A HOUSEKEEPER
Our Housekeeper shifts cover an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday. No weekends or evening shifts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in hospitality, or senior living environment preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk/stand 90% or more of shifts, and respond to all resident and emergency needs quickly, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour
