As Houseperson, you will:
- Make rounds through the halls each shift to ensure public areas are clean and tidy, taking care to remove or replace anything out of order.
- Assisting room attendants with guest room replenishing.
- Removing dirty linen and garbage from guest rooms and delivering replacement linen / terry.
- Transferring clean linen from hotel laundry room to guest floors via carts.
- Re-stocking guest floor linen closets and replenishing amenities / products as necessary.
- Coordinate and help housekeeping / laundry with heavy lifting and priority requests.
- Vacuuming and dusting hotel hallways, elevators and other public space areas.
- Moving guest room furniture for deep cleaning projects as assigned.
- Use your watchfulness to report missing or found articles and any sign of damage or needed repair.
- Be graciously attentive to guests, answering questions and getting additional help when it’s needed, ensuring their needs are met.
Schedule: This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule. It will include day and night shifts and will include weekends.
Fundamentals:
Prior housekeeping experience is helpful. The ability to communicate effectively in Basic English is required. The ability to operate a vacuum & carpet cleaner is expected.
