ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Serves as the first point of contact for facility guests; functions as receptionist, assisting in personnel functions, supporting the HR department in the areas of recruiting, hiring, onboarding, benefits, and compensation; maintains personnel records.
- Maintains a friendly, inviting, and professional image with patrons and staff.
- Maintains the front desk, greets visitors, and directs customers to desired person or department.
- Answers incoming phone calls; provides general information to callers; connects callers to the proper extensions.
- Retrieves, opens, and distributes all mail.
- Coordinates office supply orders for specialty orders and general stock management.
- Creates internal signage for building and events.
- Gathers and distributes information for weekly All-Hands Meetings and Staff Meetings.
- Performs general clerical duties of a semi-routine nature in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Human Resources.
- This includes: filing, copying, collating, stapling, sorting, and computing.
- Coordinates company store orders and processes local item distribution and payroll deductions.
- Updates a variety of data sites including the training database (TEAMS), HRIS, Facebook, ERP (CloudSuite Industrial), I-9 tracker, and Human Resources metric dashboard.
- Aids in planning and organizing employee events and customer visits.
- Answers routine questions related to personnel and interprets policy where defined procedures and rules exist.
- Assists in posting open jobs, pre-screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Arranges drug testing and conducts new hire orientations according to policies and procedures.
- Keeps track of conference room refrigerator to ensure adequate stock of drinks.
- Periodically assists employees in arranging travel.
- Performs other clerical duties not related to telephone duties.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
- Minimum one (1) year of related administrative experience.
- Typing of 40 words per minute and proficiency with office machines, excellent PC / MS system proficiency. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Requires good business math, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to multitask.
- Self-starter, quick learner.
- Can demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic workplace.
- Ability to be tactful and use discretion with incoming telephone calls and visitors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 10lbs with or without accommodations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $29.07 per hour
