Decima Corporation LLC is currently seeking an experienced HR Coordinator/Recruiting Manager to become an integral part of our fast-growing operation. This position will directly report to the Controller. The HR Coordinator/Recruiting Manager is responsible to further the development and enhancement of the HR function. In collaboration with the Controller, the position’s responsibilities are focused on planning, implementing, and evaluating engagement, team member satisfaction, HR metrics, team member relations, human resources-related compliance, and human resources policies, programs, and practices. This position will adapt as needed to support the growth and organizational effectiveness of the company.

As the HR Coordinator/Recruiting Manager you will be expected to:

  • Post required positions on job boards, review and phone screen selected resumes.
  • Manage all aspects of employee relations issues and investigations by partnering with leadership.
  • Educate employees about benefit programs and liaise with insurance broker.
  • Support full lifecycle of the employee from on-boarding, leave, exit, and retirement.
  • Advise leadership regarding compensation and reward programs.
  • Maintain HRIS data, perform audits, and create reports.
  • Assist in developing performance management tools, formalizing succession planning, and proactively developing staff and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR-related matters by developing ongoing checklists, processes, and reviews of the same.
  • Further develop HR policies, processes, procedures, programs, systems, and metrics to measure ongoing effectiveness and optimization of the same.
  • Assist in the development of the company compensation program including philosophy, structure (pay grades, ranges, incentive programs, process for updating to ensure recruitment/retention success), annual review processes, and compensation budget recommendations. Recommend compensation for new hires to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness. Oversee all to ensure the integrity of the program.
  • Predictable, reliable, and prompt attendance.
  • Ability to work on site and off site.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing high volume of deliverables which may oftentimes create conflict deadlines.
  • Management of employee records (Hard & Soft), absences, benefits and processing of weekly company payroll.
  • Leader for the reinforcement of company policies, rules and procedures to ensure employees’ safety.
  • Support employees when human resources issues arise with efficient problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight and direction.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy to detail.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related area is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven competency in the Human Resources field, with demonstrable progression and growth in scope and performance.
  • Knowledge and application of federal and state employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, FMLA, ADA, EEO and OSHA.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements affecting employee benefit plans, including the Affordable Care Act, ERISA, COBRA, Section 125, Medicare, Social Security and DOL requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail is required.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
  • Adaptability and support of change.
  • Ability to lead projects of significant complexity.
  • HR certification (preferred)
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and often-changing environment.

Starting Salary:

This is a full-time, exempt position. Salary is commensurate with experience, with the expected annual pay ranging from $65,000 - $80,000.
